Report a Bug¶
Submit bug reports for Divi 5 through the Elegant Themes member portal.
Overview¶
If you encounter a bug in Divi 5, Elegant Themes provides a dedicated reporting system accessible from your account dashboard. Detailed reports with clear reproduction steps help the development team identify and fix issues faster.
For additional reference, see the official Elegant Themes documentation.
How to Report a Bug¶
- Log in to your Elegant Themes member portal.
- Click the pink chat icon in the bottom-right corner to open the support chat.
- Click the Report Divi 5 Bug button.
- Describe the issue with exact steps to reproduce the problem.
What to Include¶
A good bug report contains:
- Steps to reproduce -- the exact sequence of actions that triggers the bug.
- Expected behavior -- what should happen.
- Actual behavior -- what happens instead.
- Environment details -- Divi version, WordPress version, PHP version, active plugins.
- Screenshots or recordings -- visual evidence of the issue.
- Browser and device -- which browser and OS you are using.
What to Expect¶
The Elegant Themes team will review your report. They will only reach out if they need more details -- you may not receive a confirmation reply. Your report is still logged and tracked internally.
Before Reporting¶
To avoid reporting issues that have known fixes:
- Update to the latest Divi version.
- Test in Safe Mode (Divi > Support Center > Safe Mode) to rule out plugin conflicts.
- Check the Elegant Themes help center for known issues.
- Clear all caches and test in an incognito window.
